well, i just finished watching tv...and i'm back to blog...
was watching ABC DJ just now, and i thought it was rather funny, cos the main character, DJ, is an ABC(shame on you, if you didnt know it meant American Born Chinese). and he met this cute chinese chick from china, and all she speaks is putonghua(mandarin). So his chinese is worst than Brendan's(if you ever heard him order food in chinese, you would rather choose the easy way out to order for him in ENGLISH..) haha...
and he doesnt even know the basics of chinese and his guardian family had to teach him...and the guardian's daughter tried to make a fool out of him by teaching him to say "your face is like a pimple that i want to squeeze", when he wanted to learn how to say "your skin is soft to the touch".
ok...coincidentally, i was speaking about the weird pronunciation and funny accents of a lot of people...this people seriously don't know how to use accents properly. Point to note, if you're not of that race or creed, please don't ever try to speak with that accent! Unless you can do it well and carry it off, pls don't ever try...or i'll definitely give you a sharp look and correct you.
I applaud people's efforts to try to speak proper english. but if you haven't even grasped the english language properly, pls dun try to put on an American, British or worst still, Jamaican accent! it really won't look good on you.
Anyway, off to events that happened today. remember the days when ressa, yaya, hitt and me used to walk down the concourse together laughing and talking? well, it happened again today after a long long time...here's a photo of the three of them at the lab...i'm not in the photo becos, i being the camera shy guy, am helping to take that photo... Look...3 bimbos...haha
