Its been a long while since i last blogged...

yes, i don't really wanna blog unless there's something important or interesting that i wanna say...

so here goes...

last sat, i had the opportunity to go to Vivo City with the band. we visited the place for a short while only...it was mother huge and mother crowded...it had a lot of new brands like GAP(i'm gonna spend like mad here...), Pull and Bear, and Ted Baker(i think this shop is ridiculously overpriced). there were other brands like Zara(of course, i'm gonna shop there...), baleno, levis and others...my only grudge is that there is no Massimo Dutti...there aren't many places to eat though...so we had to cross over to the old hawker centre to eat..and oh my, i found a stall that sold very very nice beef noodles...its the thai beef noodles that rocked....the soup was delectable. I told myself that if i have to part time at BB next time, i wanna work at VC.

talking about BB, i'm really enjoying myself at work...and i think i'm gonna continue working for the next few months since i'm out of school already. I'm gonna earn some cash.

today, i brought Josiah to SJMM, we didnt really do much except celebrate a "surprise" birthday party for Aunty Sylvia. I really thank God for the gift of such a beautiful lady...the most beautiful lady after my mum. heh...and i really meant what i said about her being my God-sent "idol". She sings so well and devotes herself to God. Well, i hope that josh had a great time today. hope u come back next week yeah? then you can start to tinkle the ivory keys!

ok....i'm gonna end here and go to bed....tired...but before i leave...i have a wishlist...and i'm gonna get all this by the end of this yr...hah!

1. U2 ipod
2. Corduroy jeans from Zara
3. White long sleeve from Gap
4. Shoes from Pull and Bear
5. three more wishes...heh

anyway, aunty syl shared with us this just now....this morning she asked God one question in the midst of her heavy-laden life, she asked "who am i?"

i too must myself "who am i?" and He will answer me.

Who Am I
by Casting Crowns
Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name
Would care to feel my hurt
Who am I, that the Bright and Morning Star
Would choose to light the way
For my ever wandering heart

Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are

I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
Vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours, I am Yours

Who am I, that the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love and watch me rise again
Who am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me

Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are

I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
Vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours

Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are

I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
Vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours

I am Yours
Whom shall I fear
Whom shall I fear
'Cause I am Yours
I am Yours

hi again...

Hello friends and visitors,

it's a pleasure to have you visit my blog once again. If you are new to the blog, you might find out that my life is actually very boring. For the record, i actually don't really like blogging. But its one of those things that i do when i really have nothing to do.

So......here i am once again to report to you about the past few days.

One thing i'm absolutly excited about, is the arrival of me new bed! Yes, me mumsie actually bought me that loft bed that i've wanted forever! I tell you most solemnly, its the starting of my mission to refurbish my room.

So what happened was, the old bed, the one that is only 3 years old has been moved to my grandma's old place. She rented the place to an italiano chef, so he needs a bed. SO what better opportunity to get rid of my bed and get that loft bed, ain't it?

Throughout the whole of yesterday, i was thinking to myself, won't that mean i have to sleep on nothing for the next 3 or 4 days? Well, i came home late at night to find a mattress on the floor. It was my sis'! I'm sure you might wonder how come my house has so many beds and mattresses...No, we don't harbour illegal immigrants. When we first moved into Compass Heights, mumsie bought 2 beds of the same kind. One for the little sis of mine and one for me. And the thing is, the bed actually consist of another mattress on castors. So its a 2-in-1 kind of thing.

Ok...on to the next topic. I was out late last night with the band to celebrate Andrew our bassist's birthday...we were at Harry's@Esplanade and we watched Paul Ponnadurai(glares at Gus..) perform. Yes yes, tht guy is awesome. he really is...i lyk his voice...velvety and sexy...had a drop or two...What else besides a mango flavoured frozen margarita(whoever the bartender was that day, you better improve your mixing skills, cos it sucked). took quite a few photos...oh yah...we had chilli nachos which was not bad...i actually mistook jalapeno peppers for pickles and had a really hot kick...shiokedoos!

now...on fri, i was out with my two beautiful "sisters" at Geylang Serai to break fast together...no i didnt fast that day...so we had lots of food when the time to break fast came. Otak Otak, vege vadais, keropok lekor which was good and something that i tried for the first time and fell deeply in love with it, Dendengs! Sure, it sounds like bedendengs, but its actually, beef 'bak kua'. definitely halal, it was awesome! But the night ended quite early when the haze got worse and everyone was barely able to breathe without scringing their faces. So we went home...

Ok...now i'm on to my final sunject of the day before i post the pictures. Forums. newpaper forums.

Recently there was this Singaporean Chinese lady who wrote into Straits Times forum to highlight that the popular Singaporean musical, Forbidden City:Portriat of an Empress was historically wrong.

My take on this random lady. It's just a musical. Its up to the scriptwriters to direct and choreograph the musical to what is most appreciated by the audience. Even if the plot is historically wrong, just shut up and watch it! Yes it will go abroad for audiences worldwide to watch. But i'm more than certain that they will appreciate the show very much. Even if the plot is wrong, i'm sure they will still approve of the musical. Unless you're a historian or a history teacher like Ms Jackie Cheng, why bother to write in to such a forum and complain? Well, no one has ever done that since the musical first played to audiences in 2003! You're obviously the first, well congrats! i'll leave it here...

pictures on the way...

the people who were at harry's...except me, cos i was taking the photo...duh!

oh...this is how foggy the air was on fri night

i think i love this picture very much...

yours truly!

can this picture be seen?
