fourth, i just picked up reading again. Just finished reading "Five people you meet in heaven", nice book i must say...am now reading "Mary Mary" by James Patterson. So far so good...
fifth...i wanna refurbish my room....its the simplest of rooms, i feel...So what happens is, i wanna get a new bed....a loft bed, that is. Then i wanna get a phillips sound system for my room...anyone wants to sponsor? Kindly direct all donations in cash to the Refurbish Nick's room Fund.
Over last weekend, i had the opportunity to serve at the Sin and Repentance retreat by Fr Gino...it was good...and we had the chance to work with some people at Amplify...cool bunch of people i must say...working with them this week again...for ministry growth. Fun people.

I had a beautiful week...2 weeks ago i had rciy camp which was fabulous...didnt really stay for it....
Fri night went out with the band for julian's birthday...went to indochine empress place which suck-ed...then we headed to lau pa sat for supper....and we didnt go home till 4 in the morning...i wonder how i managed to stay up...
den went to Gus' house to write songs with Uncle Andrew, Julian, Gus, Maddie and Val. I tell you most solemnly, this is the group to be in to write songs...haha...these people were awesome!
i provided some verses as lyrics for some songs...and i thought i was not bad...haha...
OK...so anyway, i'm back at Brooks Brothers to work. And i haven't had one day without fun. These people i work with are a bunch of fun fools.
Anwar, Milo, Evelyn, Ressa, Amizah and maybe carol...haha....i wonder how many times i couldn't stop laughing together with them when we joke and bitch about customers...haha
sometimes there are customers who are realy really idiotic and moronic that you wonder why they act like this in public. Just to mention one...this lady....not gonna mention her name but she's such a bitch...sorry to use words like this, but when someone incurs my wrath, here's what you get...This lady came into the shop and bought some stuff...then she came to the counter and claimed that she's a VIP cardmember but she didnt bring the card. So we checked the file that contains a list of VIP card members. This list is updated every month when new members are added. So i checked the list over and over again and she gave her name and her husband's name cos she didnt know whether it was her name or her husband's that was registered. So i told her NICELY...get it, NICELY..."sorry ma'am, i can't find your name nor your husband's name on our list" here's what she replied, "then i'm so disappointed, cos we shopped here a few times and they gave us the discount everytime we came"
Bitch! get this right, whether they gave us the discount or not, is none of my business, fact is, you don't have the card, and we don't have ur name on our list. So stop telling me that you shopped here a few times before.
I was very polite when i spoke to her. She was polite too...except that she kept implying that we are in the wrong. Well, luckily milo came in and checked and gave her the discount even though he couldnt find the bitch's name. By the way, she's filipina and she spoke with a fake american accent. I'm not saying that all filipinas are bad. They are nice people, my maid is nice and i have met very elegant and great filipinas before. But this particular one thinks she is superior just because she married an american and now carries an american surname. My point is, be humble...i'm serving you politely and nicely and i expect that you be nice to me too...
ok on to better things...Friday, i went to watch Forbidden City: Portrait of an Empress with Brendan. It was superb. I applaud the whole production team for this magnificent and excellent musical. Dick Lee's the musical director for this project, and i think he's a prodigy! All the songs were great. I think all his songs including the national day songs are excellent(altho BMF disagrees). The cast were great, Hal Fowler and Leigh McDonald who play George Morrison and Kate Carl respectively were great singers. Well, they were from Broadway and West End to start with. Then there was of course Kit Chan. I wonder, how her voice can be so sweet, gentle yet strong. She played Yehenara aka Empress Dowager Cixi. Kit chan is beautiful, multi-talented. I like her a lot. She sings, acts and also writes.
Overall, this production is worth your money and should be taken overseas. I certainly think that it would be well-received by the world! If a DVD was produced, i'm definitely gonna get it.
