Romans 8:28 "And in all things God works for the good of those who love him and, who have been called according to his purpose"
Indeed he works marvels for us. Yesterday, the band and i had our very first practice together. And it was "woah!!! power sia!!!"
First, when told i was leading this coming wed, i already panic. What's more we havent even started practising, and we don't have time for much practice. So yesterday, all of us came down to the centre to practice.
i came down at 12 instead of 1 because i forgot to inform the caretaker that i needed him to open the room for me to use. So i searched high and low, round and round, but to no avail. Again i panic....so i sat down at the round table and took a breather. And in the silence of my heart, a strong verse came into my mind "God works for the good of those who love him". And my eyes were suddenly drawn to the perpetual adoration chapel.
So i believed in that verse and i walked into the chapel with expectant faith knowing that He will works wonders for me. i stayed in there for about 10 mins, and prayed.
the moment i stepped out of the chapel, and voila! there he was, the man i was looking for.
So we opened the room and i waited for all the members to come and we practised.
It was amazing how we could finish 5 out of 6 songs in a short span of 2 hour plus.
i'm encouraged and touched by how He has worked wonders for us. In the words of the centurion who stood near the cross when the Lord died "Surely He was the son of God"
Praise the Lord!
Magnificat My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour; he has looked with favour on his lowly servant.
From this day all generations will call me blessed; the Almighty has done great things for me and holy is his name.
He has mercy on those who fear him, from generation to generation.
He has shown strength with his arm and has scattered the proud in their conceit,
Casting down the mighty from their thrones and lifting up the lowly.
He has filled the hungry with good things and sent the rich away empty.
He has come to the aid of his servant Israel, to remember his promise of mercy,
The promise made to our ancestors, to Abraham and his children for ever.
